Galway County Show 14 June 2008
This was our first show of the summer in Clarinbridge, and what a big show it was! We brought Ben for a look around and to get him used to shows. But the most important one was Kitsy, Katelyn and Katie for the Family Lead Rein. We or the kids or pony! had never participated in this class before and it was all knew to us. But, they were absolutely brilliant, they behaved brilliantly! both kids and pony! Their was 22 in the class! imagine for your first show! I nearly died! The judging took half an hour, Katelyn was very good as she is only 3yrs old and it was along time in the ring! but it was worth it when I seen the big proud smile when she received her Rosette and tedding bar for entering!She thought she won Bless her!!!
All Ireland Welsh Show Kilkenny 2008
Below are a couple of pictures taken yesterday of the boys in Kilkenny.
We got on really well, Barracks Bjork (Ben) got 2nd in his Stallion Class and Black and Amber Qualifier, and 2nd in the IPS Stallion class in the All Ireland Welsh Show.
Gowlaun Little Storm

Castlerea Agri Show 2008
Held on Aug Bank Hol Monday, we brought 5 horses, got 3x 3rds, 1 x 2nd and 2 x 1st.
And YES Katelyn, Katie + Kitsy got their first 1st Place and on the home turf and all! Excitement all round!, they got a rosette Red of Course!, Bag of goodies, a trophy, a medal, they (and us) were well chuffed!
Tinkerbelle, got placed 1st in her coloured pony class and yes I was well pleased with my red rosette!!! Good Girl Tinkie!

Elphin Agricultural Show 2008
One pony was all we brought to this show this year due to bad weather, and then the day turned out lovely!!! Anyways we brought Tinkerbelle, and entered her in the Coloured Pony Class, which she won hands down again, another 1st Red Rosette, good Girl!, we then got placed 4th in the Overall Champion Pony Class! no prize there tho!
